Simple Homemade VEGAN Face Masks

Recently I wrote about some natural homemade face masks! As some of them contained honey and yogurt, I thought I would do a vegan edition!

So here is some face masks for different skin types, all totally vegan!

 

Dry Skin

1/2 avocado

1/2 banana

Mash together, apply to a clean, dry face and leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a clean flannel, and dry thoroughly. Follow with moisturiser.

 

 

Oily Skin

5 strawberries

1 tsp coconut oil

1/4 tsp white kaolin clay (optional)

Mash the strawberries. Add the coconut oil and the kaolin clay if you’re using it. Apply to a clean, dry face and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a clean flannel, and dry thoroughly. Follow with moisturiser.

 

 

Combination Skin

1/4 avocado

1 tbsp coconut oil

tea tree oil

Mash the avocado, mix in the coconut oil and add a few drops of tea tree oil. Apply to a clean, dry face and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a clean flannel, and dry thoroughly. Follow with moisturiser.

 

 

Dull Skin

1/4 papaya

1/2 tomato

1 tbsp orange juice

Blend or mash the papaya and tomato, and add the orange juice. Apply to a clean, damp skin and leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a clean flannel, and dry thoroughly. Follow with moisturiser
